Vastu principles for plot selection

Based upon the ancient science of architecture, Vastu shastra is all about the peaceful dwelling, building flourishment and prosperous life. It is a building science that promotes mental, financial as well as physical growth.

The principles of Vastu shastra are based upon the study of five elements, location of the building, right choice of plot, right construction and right interior. It has been noticed to this extent that even construction wont complete if a plot is not as per the principles. In this article, methods for right choice of plot are explained.

Shape of plot -

There are many types of plot shapes making it regular or irregular. Undoubtedly , regular plot like rectangular, circular and square are the best . Irregular plot symbolizes imbalance and need to be balanced with the Vastu remedies to make it beneficial.

Position of transformer-

Transformers and electric poles are generally found near plots in open areas. If its towards the Southeast or South, then its auspicious. otherwise its not preferable in any other direction. In such case, with rectification techniques, we can get good results.

Plot facing -

Facing of plot is another important factor while choosing a plot. If roads surrounding the plot are not in the right direction, it can invite several problems. facing is exactly the direction where road lies connecting that plot with the outer world. Plots that are North , East , South and Wesdt facing are the best. Plots facing the corners like Northeast, Southeast, Northwest are average plots. Plots facing Southwest are much tricky and need to chosen by checking all the related principles minutely.

Open area - Open space is the undeveloped area of the plot. Sometimes, it is used for lawn , parking or just underdeveloped. In such case, it should be checked that open area is good to be in the East and North direction. If major area of land or plot is open from the South direction , then it should treated with the Vastu remedies to get good results.

Blocked from East - Never buy a plot that is blocked from the east direction. There may be a large tree, big building or huge tower that obstructs flow of energy and making it a defected plot. Moreover , it obstructs the fresh natural sunlight leads to lack of vitality, connectivity and happiness and growth.

Cuts in the plot -
